Learn to Skate/Play
Ocean State Future Stars Hockey Academy offers a year round Learn to Skate/Play Hockey Program with a professional coaching staff dedicated to the growth and development of each player. We offer a 7:1 ratio player to coach which will provide more one on one instruction.
Ages
Learn to Skate/Play is designed for Mite age players, 5 to 8 years old.
When
The program runs on an 8 week schedule year round.
Where
Training and skill development takes place at both Adelard Arena and Smithfield Municipal Ice Rink.
Practices
Players train on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Games
Learn to Skate/Play focuses on skill development. Players are welcome to join our House league upon completion of the Learn to Skate/Play program.
Jerseys
Players receive a practice jersey.
